Co-ed T-Ball: (Ages 5-7)
This program is designed as an introduction to baseball, and everyone will play equally. Using fun to introduce baseball fundamentals, players are encouraged to develop their skills and learn the rules. Fun, friendship, teamwork and sportsmanship are stressed. The ball is hit from a stationary tee.
A T-shirt, baseball cap and a season-end wrap up party are provided. Players must bring their own glove and it is strongly recommended that players provide their own helmet.
Teams play two nights a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the season runs from May 25, 2010 through until Thursday July 22, 2010. Games and Practices are held at local Westmount and Lambeth diamonds (on a rotating basis).
The season ENDS with a wrap-up game/bbq between 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, at the Southwest London Diamonds (on Southdale Road, west of Wonderland and east of Col. Talbot), on Saturday July 24, 2010.
