Boys Competitive Minor Mosquito: (2000)

Note:  Girls can play Competitive baseball as well.  Contact:  dlaur@corporateinvestigations.com for more information.

This program is designed for players with better than average skills. Players are selected for team positions on a try-out basis. Try-outs typically occur in April.

Players who do not make the competitive team will be placed on house-league teams. If a player does not wish to play house-league, they need to indicate this at the time of registration.

IMPORTANTThe DEADLINE for registration to play Competitive (any Division) is March 15th at midnight. If you do not register by this time, you will not be eligible to play Competitive.

We will be running an introduction to pitching/practice on Monday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at St. Jude's (Viscount Road).  These sessions will start on Monday February 22nd and run until we head outdoors.  They are open only to those registered for competitive baseball.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the time commitment required for competitive baseball, we practice 2 times per week and usually play 1-2 games per week.  Our regular schedule is in London and the surrounding area including St. Thomas, Strathroy, Dorchester, etc.  We will enter into approx. 5 tournaments (including playoffs and the OBAs) with one of those tournaments being out of town.  The season runs from April (tryouts) until Labour Day weekend.

If your player does not make the team you will be reimbursed the fund difference between houseleague and competitive.  You must reside in the Southwest boundry to register for competitive with Southwest.

If you have any questions regarding the St. Jude camp or the Minor Mosquito competitive team please contact Graham or Donna.
